Restart of access switches on various premises from Tuesday, March 26th through Thursday, March 28th 2024 at 6:30 a.m.

Due to a necessary security update, access switches on various TU Wien premises have to be restarted on Tuesday, March 26th, Wednesday, March 27th and Thursday, March 28th 2024 at approx. 6:30 a.m.

In the course of the reboot, network devices in the following affected areas will lose their connection for about 10 minutes:

Tuesday, March 26th - A (Karlsplatz), B (Getreidemarkt), F (Gusshausstraße 28, Erzherzog-Johann-Platz 1)

Wednesday, March 27th - C (Gusshausstraße), H (Favoritenstraße)

Thursday, March 28th - D (Freihaus, Library, Operngasse, Treitlastraße), P (Engerthstraße)

This includes computers, phones, access systems, cameras, multimedia devices, lecture hall network and WLAN.

Devices connected in Server Housing are not affected by the outage.
