Maintenance work on fibre optic line Gusshausstraße 27 - Science-Center Arsenal

On April 17, 2025, between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., there will be maintenance on a fiber optic line of one of the two network connections to the Arsenal

Due to a planned increase in bandwidth for TU Wien's secondary internet connection, the installation of additional optical devices in a fiber optic link is necessary. Relocating fiber optic patches will result in a brief interruption of the services transmitted over this link. Since the link is redundant, no outage or disruption to network services is expected during the upgrade. The interruption will last for 5-10 minutes.

Our team will carefully monitor the upgrade process to ensure that all network functions are stable and available again afterward.
