Failure connection Old WU

On Wednesday, February 13, 2019, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, A1 Telekom Austria will carry out maintenance work on the fiber optic cable to the Alte WU (buildings WA, WB, WC, WD). It comes at this location to a total failure of the wired TUNET, the WLAN and the TUphone.

As part of the construction work on the U2 / U5 subway line, the A1 Telekom Austria has announced that it will be carrying out maintenance work on various university fiber optic cables in the Vienna area from 15:00 to 20:00 on Wednesday, 13 February 2019. Affected is also the connection of the old WU (University Center Althanstraße / Ausfallsquartier Augasse, building WA, WB, WC, WD) to the rest of the TUNET.

The following services are not available at Old WU during this period:

     Wired TUNET
     Internet access via TUNET
     TUphone
     WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS

The other universities located in this building are also likely to be affected by the maintenance work. Access to the TUNET is possible during the maintenance period via a mobile Internet connection via VPN. We apologize for the inconvenience!
