Switching to ID Austria (Reminder)

The mobile phone signature will be replaced by ID Austria on Dec 5, 2023. The TU Wien is also changing its services.

As already reported in the posting, opens an external URL in a new window of June 29 this year, TU has already been offering the possibility to perform the central login with mobile phone signature, opens an external URL in a new window for years. The TUW login portal has also supported the new form of authentication via ID Austria for some time now. You can only use the mobile phone signature here until it is deactivated on December 4, 2023. However, ID Austria must be activated by this date at the latest. In principle, all users of the mobile phone signature can switch to the basic functions, opens an external URL in a new window of ID Austria themselves. Under certain conditions, it is also possible to switch online to ID Austria with full functions, opens an external URL in a new window.

Mobile phone signatures formerly issued by the TU.it Service Centre are unfortunately not considered to be officially registered and therefore it is only possible to switch online to the ID Austria with basic function.
