Service description

Our service offers you a light ultrabook, science notebook or MacBook, licences for the basic software equipment, as well as integration into the TUnet. A new device is provided after four years at the earliest or in the event of hardware problems.

You can entrust the procurement, installation, set-up and maintenance of the workstation, including the operating system, to qualified professionals. Simple provision of the required hardware and software with a comprehensive service in the event of a fault.

The TUnoteBook service provides hardware and technical support for all employees of the TU Wien.

It includes a lightweight quality notebook or science notebook as well as the necessary software licences.

If there is a desire for a new device after 4 years of use of a TUnoteBook device, the replacement can be ordered via the TUnoteBook Hardware Replacement, opens an external URL in a new window.

If the provision contract is cancelled, the computer must be returned at the end of the quarter.

Your initial order is placed online, opens an external URL in a new window. The person authorised to release your structural element (your organisational unit) must complete the order.

If, after 4 years of using a TUnoteBook, you would like a new device, you can order the replacement via the TUnoteBook Hardware Replacement, opens an external URL in a new window.
