Service description

Git is a software for distributed Version management of files (especially of source code). With TUgitLab, Campus IT provides an application for managing repositories based on Git. TU members with an active TUaccount can use this service when working on GitLab projects. In TUgitLab, institute administrators activated in the Online Account Management can manage GitLab groups, assign project permissions, and assign external project partners as additional GitLab users.

In principle, the service TUgitLab, opens an external URL in a new window can be used by any member of the TU with an active TUaccount and selected external persons within the scope of their participation in GitLab projects. To obtain the necessary authorizations, please contact your responsible TUgitLab institute administrator or GitLab project manager. The function as TUgitLab institute administrator can be requested via the online account management. For more information, please refer to the help pages of the TUgitLab Services.

To register, you only need your TU username (short name or generic email address (if necessary without the @ part) and your TU account password.
