Service description

TUphone, the TU Wien phone system, is based on the VoIP technology of Cisco Systems, Inc. Along with the actual telecommunications system (Unified Call Manager) we also provide you with components for voice mail, unified communication, fax service and softphones.

The TUphone management system in TISS offers extensive administration options from device inventory to phone number management.

TUphone fixed network refers to the telephone system and the associated subsystems (switching, voice storage, billing, presence, boss/sec system) of the TU Wien for communication and collaboration.

Hardphones are requested by the TUphone Appointee of the organisational unit.

Profiles and softphones can be prepared directly by the TUphone Appointee of the organisational unit via TISS.

This service is available to you immediately. To register, you only need your TU username (short name or generic email address (without the @ part if necessary) and your TU account password.
