Service description

With this service we offer you the possibility to provide websites without having to operate a web server yourself. This service is both a renewal of the service "Webspace for Institutes (Infoserver)" and an essential contribution to the website relaunch project.

Using different profiles, you can create "TUW websites" with a (largely) predefined layout as well as "TUW hosted websites" without a predefined layout.

You do not have to take care of running a web server yourself.
You can choose between a (largely) predefined CMS with a fixed layout or more freedom with the choice of CMS and layout.
Upgrades of TUW websites are done by Campus IT.

With this service you can provide websites without having to operate a web server yourself. Using different profiles, you can create both "TUW websites" with a (largely) predefined layout and "TUW hosted websites" without a predefined layout.

In principle, the service can be used by any TU member with an active TU account. The application for the necessary authorization can be made via the Online Account Management under "Own Accounts".

Don't forget to inform the person authorized to release the account in order to release the application.
As soon as the account is set up, you will be notified by email and you will have to activate the account by setting a new password.
